Land Claim Guide

Use Grief Prevention to protect your land from griefing. It is one of the first things you should do before building a base, farm, or storage room. 🏰

How to make a claim

• Get a golden shovel.
• Right-click one corner of the area you want to protect.
• Walk to the opposite corner and right-click again.
• If the claim is created, you will see a confirmation message in chat.

Managing your claim

• To make your claim bigger, use the golden shovel and mark a larger area.
• Use /claiminfo to view information about the claim you are standing in.
• Use /subdivideclaims if you want to split a large claim into smaller sections.
• Use /abandonclaim if you want to remove the claim you are currently standing in.

Trusting other players

• Use /trust player to let another player build and interact inside your claim.
• Use /untrust player to remove their access.
• Use /trustlist to see who already has access.

Quick tip

Claim your base early, then claim your farms and other important builds too. Protected land saves a lot of trouble later. 🙂
